You might. If not, within a few seconds.

you ran 1:57 the hard way, negative split. i don’t know where you are in your training but assuming you’re ramping up for the track season i think with competition you’re in that ball park.
That’s a bit of a reach for now. Sub 2:30 for a K might be the goal first. 400m of pure speed endurance strength is hard to add and takes time. A good deal of fitness can be added over a month though, and you have all of indoors to keep working on that leg. I don’t think a PR will come a month from now, but you should prove me wrong. Rooting for ya!

Not sure. Don’t care
Yes if you are in a good race with competition. Good luck and let us know how you do
Indoors or outdoors
Indoors no
Outdoors yes
Likely about 3:03. Your split was likely incorrect due to the exchange zone.

I haven't really done any hard workouts yet. It's pretty much just been easy runs and threshold runs, with some sprints once or twice a week to keep in touch with speed.
Raw, your 1:57 is equivalent to like a 3:02-3:04.
With your additional info about the 1:57 (that it was run as a solo TT with a negative split) plus the training info you’ve given and the month you have to train, running very near or even under 2:57 isn’t off the table.
Get in some good training between now and then, get out in 29-flat on race day, and find out!
