I would never want to stop someone while running but I have a deep, deep crush on a guy I pass most mornings. I smile at him and that's about it... does anyone have suggestions for what I do next???

You could wink at him as you go past.
This thread is useless without pics
Try a move like this - he'll then stop and ask how you're doing and you take it from there
Definitely stop him and introduce yourself: "Hey I see you running all the time and just wanted to say Hi. I'm biiiiiigtimecrush". But don't linger more then a few seconds. Just continue your run, leaving with "Have a good run." He'll be thinking about you the whole day.
Next time you see him, wave and say something like, "Looking good, <insert name here>." But keep running. He'll be thinking about you the whole day again, but now he's wondering if you're interested in him and not just being friendly.
Third time, stop and talk for a minute or two to see what he's like.
If he doesn't want to stop running, he's probably not interested.

Haha, just thinking how this would totally work since OP is a girl. If it was the other way around it would be totally creepy and you’d probably get the cops called on you.

It's obvious that I am the guy. I am married but I am flattered. Don't be embarrassed, this happens every day to me.
This is a fake thread obviously, but the best thing is the quick stop/introduce bit, and depending then, next time in passing mention an upcoming race you're running. Even if not planning to, show up and run it. That's it.
I’ll swing both ways dude. Just introduce yourself the next time you see me.
Javier
That’s a chick 😭

Good grief. Have you never approached someone of the opposite sex before? Look, all you have to do is get one of your friends to follow you at a distance on a bike while you are running. When you see the guy approaching, signal to your friend via a covert hand gesture to come and "accidentally sideswipe" you off the trail from behind and keep biking away. The ol' hit and run. Make the fall convincing and cry a little, if you can.
The guy will naturally stop to make sure that you are okay. That's your in. The rest of the story writes itself.
Write your name and number on a piece of paper and bring it with you so you can hand it to him next time you see him. As you hand the paper to him say you’d love to meet up for a drink sometime. If he contacts you, great. If not, find another running route.

next time you pass yell "Gobble gobble MFer!!" -- if he's worth your time, he'll know what to do next.
Figure out where he finishes his run and go talk to him.
Turn around and race him.

Good start.
Pro tip: mention LRC for profiling purposes and if he seems overly familiar with the forum, you might want to reconsider the whole thing.

When you see him coming towards you pretend you twisted your ankle, with a fall and tears. If he stops to help you, your window of opportunity is open. If he doesn't stop and gives you a sideways glance on the way by, look for another man.
