if by consistent he means that Prakel hasn't improved or gotten worse, then yes. Nobody has run 3:36 or 3:37 as many times as he has. Unfortunately he's only run 3:34 once and has never run 3:35.
He should have moved up to the 5k at least 5 years ago. He's been CONSISTENT with a 9th place finish in the Olympic Trials 1500 and 8th in the 2022 USATF championships.

Awesome to read an article focusing on Sam; he really has been one of the most consistent milers…always in the final but never made a team yet.
I’ve kept an eye on him because I ran in Ohio high school xc and track the same time - he ran for tiny D3 Versailles (they say “ver-sales” here 🙄) so I never got the privilege of losing to him, but have clear memories of thinking his stride was perfect, watching at Regionals.

Sam eats sugar all the time he loves donuts. Sugar doesn't make you catch the flu. The only way sugar can hurt you is if you eat it uncontrollably in very high amounts.
