bought some invincible 2's a few weeks ago for like 115$ shipped. Quickly noticed why so many people liked them. Very fun, bouncy ride. All was good, until... at the end of my third run I started to feel some pressure on my right ankle. Specifically, in the front of my ankle just to the right of the tendons that run down the top of the foot. This was the 3rd day in a row of an easy 5 mile run. Took them out again on day 4, but as soon as I put them on, my ankle was really bothering me. Threw on some novablasts and everything was fine. Got home, checked the invincibles and felt a hard, pointy area on the tongue where the width of the tongue begins to shrink down just below the collar of the shoe.
Anyone else experience this? This lump of hard material on the sides of the tongue is terribly uncomfortable, for me anyway
This seriously bums me out because I was loving these shoes but I think Im going to return them. I've never had this issue with other shoes and I don;t think it can be fixed by wearing different socks. I'd love to reorder these if theres a chance I just got a bad pair. Also thinking about using some scissors to cut these chunks off but IDK if i wanna risk it
