Can anyone suggest an equivalent replacement for the old Saucony Men's Freedom ISO 2 shoes? Those were absolutely perfect on my feet for general distance running training. The whole upper is really soft, almost like a slipper, but yet they never felt loose or unstable. Unfortunately, they have been discontinued.
I tried the Saucony Freedom 5 shoes and despite being a "new and improved" model they are worse (for me) in every way. The upper is much stiffer with a rigid heel and they really grind on my feet during long runs. So, I'd like to try something else. Prefer a neutral sole with fairly thin stack height. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
