IMO only beneficial if you have some condition(a lot of people do) that restricts nasal flow. Many different allergies can cause the nasal turbinates to swell partially blocking flow. The strip pulls these away from the septum alleviating flow.
Another option is nasal sprays.
I've trialed all of them and for me QNASL was the best by far. It differs from the others by active drug and unique aerosol delivery system. Not covered by most insurance but there is a coupon you can print directly off QNASL website to reduce cost, then use flex/HSA/HRA to cover the rest. I get that some people(me included) might prefer non-drug methods(the Strips really work) but the strips can be uncomfortable and annoying to apply & remove. One spray of Q in each nostril prior to a hard workout or race is pretty convenient, no regular use for me.
