My typical training 5 days a week consists of 10-12 miles, and it’s been like this for the past 2 months essentially. Never doubling, just one morning run per day. I run the miles comfortably at 10-11 min pace, and I don’t really see myself getting any faster, so I don’t run on the track or do workouts, but I’m open to trying them out.
What I’m wondering is, what is the next logical step for me? I don’t really want to run a race right now, but is there some other goals I could aim for given this kind of baseline training I’ve been doing? For those of you who run this kind of mileage, I just wanted to get your take on things.
