I run twice a day, typically 30 mins easy in the morning and a 60 min easy run or session every second day in the evening. For the morning runs I am always very tired as I must run before work. Would it be more beneficial to run just for 90 mins in the evening for my easy runs or are there other benefits to split the runs into a 30 and 60 min run?

90 every day during the week when you can manage it health wise. Don't be stupid; if you are beat then cut those runs up.. Then, when you get in shape run 90, then run again nice and EASY in the afternoon to get some more work in.
