I’ve never seen people in any other sport talk about less talented folks with so much snark as on this board.
Jogging is fundamentally no different from running. It is meaningless to draw a line at some arbitrary pace and say that those above it are runners and those below it aren’t.
There is one fundamental, though equally meaningless in practice, distinction between walking and running in that the latter never involves placing both feet on the ground while the former never involves lifting both feet off the ground, but even this distinction is meaningless because if you insist on only “running”, here’s how a tired runner can still do it: when tired, just stand on one leg for 5 seconds as you slowly put the other leg forward, something you can do even at 60’ pace.
There’s a reason running’s historically been called a “foot race”: the sport doesn’t actually care about the nature of the motion that gets you to the finish line, only that it’s on your feet.
