What are your thoughts on this guy's OTQ build? He is coached by CJ Albertson a controversial figure on here, and I think he could find some more juice in this orange if he trained a bit differently.
110 mile weeks, significant lack of threshold type training, some speedwork in the form of 800s and 1ks, and a marathon distance long run every weekend for the past 5-6(ish) weeks ranging from 2:25-2:22. Also he mostly runs 4-6 miles in doubles when he is not doing these huge long runs. Albertson is famous for leaving his races in training and I am afraid that is hat he is leading this guy to do as well. I want him to succeed because he puts in a monster amount of work and seems like a nice guy, just doesn't train very well. I feel like he needs some longer regular runs during the week, and to seriously tone that long run back and out some more quality efforts within it.
