I overdid a workout last Thursday. My team did 12x400 w/200m recovery jog and I went too hard. Then we immediately went to the weight room to lift (no time for cooldown). Lifting was legs. My quads are still sore. I did easy runs on Friday and Saturday and took Sunday off.
I have a big meet tomorrow. Is there anything I can do? I've been rolling and massaging my quads. Someone suggested Arnica, but I'm not sure if that will do anything. Also, how big of impact will my soreness have on my race? I am a freshman in high school.
