What do we call “Indian runs” now?

It is still called an Indian run

Indians still call themselves “Indians” so what’s the problem?

Guardian runs?

It bothers me that Indians still use that term to describe themselves, but if anyone should be allowed, if would be them. They should use Guardians, too.

Indigenous peoples runs?

Ours school is about 30% Indian from India. I don't think it bothers them.

Washington Commander runs.

Just say it refers to people from India.

Is there anything about a drill where the back person in a group of joggers sprints to the front has anything to do with Native Americans?

I got an Indigenous people's burn on my arm.

What is an Indian run?

Just call them "run aheads" or "last runner up" or something like that. The term "Indian run" does not even make sense at all but use it if you want.

They will most likely just laugh at you, or it will incite a debate for no other reason than to hang on to a name that makes no sense anyway. Or nothing will happen.

I think it is as silly as you probably do but I would just change the name and move on because it doesn't really matter.

It's called an Indian run because the runners are running in single file (aka Indian file).

Yeah, but they did not alternate having one run to the front which is the entire point of the workout. So, it makes no sense.
