In the beginning of May of this year, I ran a half-marathon in 1:27:08. Had a solid summer of training and am running the Indianapolis Monumental Half Marathon at the beginning of November.
Over the last month, my workouts have been:
-6 mile run (w/ 2.5 WU/2.5 CD) at 6:36 pace
-10 x 800 M @ 5:40 mile pace with 2:45 rest
-Ladder workout: 400 M @ 5:34 pace (1 min rest); 800 M @ 5:40 pace (2:30 rest); 1200 M @ 5:50 pace (3:00 rest); 1600 M @ 5:55 pace (4:00 rest) and then back down the ladder from 1600 M to 400 M at same paces.
With that being said, am I in sub 1:26 half marathon shape? Alternatively, what would be a good workout to determine that. Thanks!
