It takes tremendous courage to speak the truth. I am sure he is being called a racist. I am also sure the enlightened left is calling for him to be terminated. It's scary what happens when you express an opinion that does not follow the leftist SJW narrative.
The correlation between MCAT scores, GPA, board passage rate and ultimately malpractice rates is pretty clear, regardless of race. Affirmative action on medicine is not just unfair to many who are excluded from medical school because of race / gender, it is unsafe. Asian females have the lowest malpractice rates, but are the most disproportionately affected by affirmative action policies.
It's unfair foreign educated physicians are not easily allowed to practice in the US. Let US doctors compete with their Indian, Pakistani, Chinese and other counterparts.
I became a doctor before standards were lowered. Who wants a doctor that is below standards and is only a doctor because of their skin color... Now I get painted with the same brush and am also seen as sub-standard. This is not the way to affect change.

Did they not teach you the difference between "effect" and affect" in doctor school?
Its not just in medical school where this lowering of standards comes into play.
You can start in HS where grade inflation is out of control to maintain "equity". This is such a disservice to the inner city/rural kids who they think they are helping. They flounder in college and wonder why they cant complete with their suburban peers who were held to higher standards. Most end up dropping out or changing majors within a semester.
This is also a big reason why colleges still turn to the SAT to see who can really make it in college.
Um...you mean the suburban peers who have $100 an hour tutors to help them prep for standardized tests and to tutor them in all their subjects and to help them navigate the admissions process? And you do know that a large number of elite universities were tests optional the last few years, right?
As a white guy who graduated from med school this past May, I had no idea how discriminated against I've been. Thank you for telling me how aggrieved I am!

Did they not teach you what a "troll" is in internet school?

Unsafe is the operative word here. Bypassing standards or established thresholds of proficiency eventually leads to significant problems.

The worst/most dangerous physicians I have encountered are the above physicians that you highlighted. They are commonly known in the VA system as “TWA’s”…”third world assassins.
What is your point? Some kids have smart parents who earn a lot of money. They in turn hire tutors for their kids. Thise kids in turn have more knowledge than other kids. The kids with more knowledge shouldn't be discriminated against due to their skin color.
+1. When it comes to physicians, the color of skin, ethnicity, and income does not matter. What matters is critical thinking skills, the ability to retrieve extensive knowledge and to apply it. Now the medical system driven by insurance companies, hospital associations, and for profit schools pushes algorithms that near any literate human can follow. The rigor that came with getting accepted into a medical school 20 years ago has changed. You needed to be near the top of every class and now it doesn’t matter. I think back to my friends in college and who stood out and went to medical school. There was just a different caliber of intellect.
