2:02:37. Sorry
Yes it will be the best race ever performed on British soil. King Charles will be waiting for him at the finish line to knight him
Absolutely not, no chance.
Legese and Amos Kipruto could get close; Bashir Abdi and Lemma could also be close, I suppose, I just don't think they'll win in the case that the CR goes down. But 2:02:37 is no joke; even harder without Eliud in the race to effectively help pace.
No, Bekele will not do it. If he hasn’t done it yet, he’s not about to start at 40.
Does he or will he?
Where have you been? Good to see you back
No, more like 2:05 to 2:06 range
NO,
NO,
NEVER!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Good to see you still putting stats up(although I only disagree with Bekele 6th place, just 5 positions off). I still post sometimes just not loads like in the past. Read letsrun every day though. Impossible to leave this place especially whenever Bekele is running
Highly unlikely.
I would love it if he did so, however
I fully believe Bekele can run below 2:01 in Berlin, even at 40, but only if he's fully fit.
However, based on his current fitness and GNR performance anything close to 2:04 would be a small miracle.
He's too heavy at the moment to run anywhere close to Kipchoge's times.
My hope for him is that he finishes London well, gets a full year of training in, and the sky's the limit next year.
Can you read? "DOES HE"
I say no. And I hope he proves me wrong.
So far... out of all the Ethopians he speaks the best English
You just never know with Bekele do you - everything points to it being incredibly unlikely, but equally I wouldn't be that surprised if he did - looking forward to it.
KIPCHOGE IS GOING TO BE SWEATING BUCKETS WITH HIS HEARTRATE THROUGH THE ROOF WATCHING THIS RACE
Jonatahn Gault had an exclusive talk with Bekele today in London.
Red flag: every time he talks big, it doesn't end well. And I'm a huge Bekele's fan.
Yup.
