I agree that "almond milk" or "oat milk" are not milk but if it's moved somewhere else in the store, that will just further pull people out of the dairy aisle. People don't go over to the milk aisle with the intention of buying dairy milk, see almond "milk," and say to themselves, "I think I'll but almond milk instead." People that want almond, I will call it "almond beverage," will just go to that part of the store and buy it. Moving it out of the dairy aisle will not prevent sales of it but very well might reduce the sales of other dairy products.

People are just one trending tik tok video away from doing it. But then the big monarch butterfly lobby will probably come in and shut them down. So, maybe it is a moot point after all. You just have to walk these things all the way through when you are trying to protect Americans from mistaking milk from a cow from oat, almond, etc. Next up, Pop Tarts. They are not tart at all. They are very sweet. How many people who crave a sour tasting morning treat have been duped by this?

The fact that farmers are getting so petty about the name is just sad. People aren’t drinking less cow milk because of the placement in stores, it’s because they realized Big Milk’s “Got Milk?” propaganda campaigns we grew up seeing everywhere were BS and there are other options besides hormone and pus filled cow excretions. Why not try to rename peanut butter “peanut paste” while they’re at it, since it’s not actually butter?

You are right. I just heard that the oil companies are preparing a lawsuit to stop the use of "olive oil", "peanut oil", etc. It should be olive juice or peanut juice. Olive farmers are just trying to fool people into using olive oil in their vehicles because it is cheaper than motor oil.
