Me and a few buddies are planning to go to elevation this next summer and I was wondering how much it would be worth it.
Would the benefits of elevation training last until 3-4 months past elevation training (when I run my biggest races). Does it matter that my red blood cells would go back to normal by the time my big races happen?
If you had to estimate, how much faster would my 5k most likely improve simply by going to elevation for 6 weeks at 7000 feet? For reference, if I were too not go to elevation I would like to run a 15:30 in senior year cross country.
