Hilly is an understatement with an uphill at 24 miles gaining 400 ft elevation and the subsequent downhill the next mile losing 400 ft.
My last 2 miles were 9:44 and 6:57
Glass City (Toledo, early April) is outstanding. Indianapolis (one week after Chicago, on the Saturday) is decent.
There is a great 50k at Salem Lake in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Frosty Fifty or something.
no idea if this one is any good, but for SMALL you wont find any smaller - 11 runners.

This is a new but small Marathon.... I think its only 1 or 2 years old but last year it got Rave reviews... A beach marathon in February...
