I hope this is not an out-of-bounds topic to discuss or I don’t know why it should be. Wouldn’t silicon add drag weight costing centiseconds for a sprinter? Or do we know that it’s negligible? Do we even think she enhanced her appearance? It sure looks probable and goes with her flashy personality.

Interesting argument for analysis: 100m in roughly 10s is 10000cm, so 3 inches or ~7.5cm would save 0.75 centiseconds or less than a hundredth of a second; a typical breast implant is 1.4 lbs total weight for a pair [1], which I’d imagine adds more than 1% to her body weight and likely slows her down by more than they saved.

if you look at the photo finish she did literally win by her breast poking out. if whoever came second had also had breast implants, she probably would have won instead.

Not sure how freezing would help but if there was a hollow implant technology that provided a 3” additional horizontal mammary projection (that’s a lot!) with negligible weight, the most benefit she could get is rounding down to one lower centisecond, eg instead of 10.8710 getting rounded to 10.87, a 0.75/100 s advantage would round it down to 10.86.
So not nothing, but much ado for nothing performance-wise.
