Sure. A windchill of 22F is when it gets too cold for me to run in shorts. Above this, I can run in shorts just fine without anything going numb. I have to keep moving though, ie not tons of stopping at lights or running directly into the wind on a wide open road.

I wear 2" split shorts in the winter. If it's lower than 25°F with wind though, I'll want another layer to protect against dick freeze.

i once wore tights without shorts in <20 degree weather - I lost feeling in my "tip" after 30 minutes and couldn't feel the entire "thing" after one hour. most painful run I've ever done - I had to slowly warm myself up to prevent "stickage".

But some real shorts before you try bragging. 2” or less or gtfo

I do, but I’m in Hawaii and you’re not. It gets down to the high 70s in winter.

I don't when I'm in Alaska. I do when I'm in California.
