Krissy Gear is the young one of the group as she turned 23 semi-recently, the rest are 24-25. That being said, it's not like NAZ Elite will be training them to run the 800. 10K-marathon runners can thrive in the age 26-31 range.

Of the four signees, three will compete for a foreign country. Why are American training groups training non-American runners?

3 of the 4 announced signings are Americans. don't believe NAZ has ever said it was an "American only" pro training group...

It's Hoka's premiere distance group so it's quite logical they bring their athletes to that group, especially when they're already based in the USA.

It's hard to get a read on NAZ Elite's identity. The messaging is vague. According to its mission statement "NAZ Elite entertains, inspires, motivates, and brings joy to runners and non-runners alike."

I guess it's mid-distance through marathon?
