Don't ever date a woman without a college degree or one in process of attaining one.
Dont ever buy a vehicle that's over 80k unless it's a truck.

1. You have time to do it twice but you don't have time to do it right.
2. The more technology you have the more there is to go wrong. (He said this when automatic car windows came out. He preferred the standard (at the time) crank handle.
3. You only live once but you want it to be a long time so put money away for the future.
My dad was an alright guy but he wasn't much for life lessons, can't really think of anything worthwhile that he imparted to me. My mom was much more responsible and practical, some things I learned from her:
Be honest
Take responsibility for your actions
Avoid debt
All those lessons have served me well.

Never start anything you can't finish

You'll accomplish more.
No one knows how to listen anymore. I mean truly listen.
