I've recently run a 37:01 10K on 40 mpw. A few months ago I ran a 1:23 half. I was on 6:15 pace for 8 miles and then fell off the pace in the last 5 miles as the course began to climb. If I do a half again it will be flat all the way. Current age 34, typical week is 1 tempo, interval set, 90 minute long run and 2 other runs all 7:50-8:20 pace. How would you structure my week to go under 80 in the half? I was thinking 2 tempos a week, with maybe a long one of 7-8 miles at 6:30-6:40. Thoughts on this? Thanks
