Last week, I had really bad blisters on the outside of my left foot. I had new shoes arriving this week, so to manage the pain, I cut a slit about the width of the blister on that side (0.25 inches, maybe). It worked for a few runs, but now I have a bruise and blisters on the inside of my heel (not the side where I cut the hole). It is also little swollen and hurts mostly when I stand on the foot. It doesn’t hurt more if I hop on that foot, though. Is it just a surface issue? I took the last two days off and it’s a little better, but I’m just wondering if it’s okay to run through?
