Better question is, despite "super spikes" are we really seeing such insane increases/jumps in performance that are that outside the realm of just a normal evolution of events?
Mens 100m in 9.86 in super spikes. No.
Womens 100m in 10.67 in super spike. No
Mens hurdles? No.
1500m? No. (and yes 3.29 is fantastic but we can't forget that the CR is 3.27.65)
I mean we can't get off "super" spikes but what evidence is there that at the pinnacle of the sport they are actually doing anything "super"
