Its no secret that Nike is known to cut athletes for lack of performance. I would estimate Sha'Carri is on barrowed time. I would estimate Nike will cut her contract within the next 6 months to year. Nike is multi billion dollar corporation for a reason and they will not continue to pay an athlete that is not meeting the standard which she clearly is not performing to standard.

She has lost less $$ than she is making from other streams of income. It's all about clicks.

I don't think anyone is crying for her. I personally think comparing her to Allison Felix is cringeworthy and disrespectful. Felix is a class act and good for the sport. Felix has a long history of success because she is positive a good role model and was not a pile of garbage. Personally I am tired of the excuses for Sha'Carri the she is young, she is just trying to adjust. Lets be real she is ghetto trash that needs to get cut. She is collecting a pay check and not doing her job. If I was a surgeon that was not doing surgeries and when I did they were botched would they keep me licensed no they would not.

Her "job" is to promote her sponsors. Sponsors look for highly visible/marketable people with a reach. Youtubers at lower levels get sponsors for their good content, but later get larger sponsors for their huge reach.

So her job really is to stay relevant really. Her outfits, persona, plastic surgery, etc are all still allowing that to happen; whether the publicity is good or bad. Her followers are at an all time high (which is additional income). If she grows her presence in that arena more, it will easily give her more financial support than a relatively short track career will. Very few sprinters have true staying power in the sport.

She is, however, making many mistakes that have or will end up impacting her bottom line. She needs a better support system that will not enable her. She is walking that fine line as many track fans will begin to write her off, casual fans will bore of the novelty, and sponsors will respond accordingly.

If she did not have track talent she would surely be a stripper and escort based on her morals--the lack thereof. Sell out for the money and took PED with an under the table deal after her positive test for God knows what PED. Hint: it was not Marijuana.

Look without track and field nobody will deal with her. Lets be real people are following her mainly to watch a train wreck in action. Once the train crash is over with people will turn to a different channel. Her job is to be a professional track athlete and perform she is not doing her job. In reference of her sponsors what good is she doing for them? If anything she is hurting the companies that she represents because people will associate the companies that she represents with her poor character performance. This is damaging.
