Keep it up. Been really cool to follow the progression. What did your easy days look like in terms of volume and pace both at the beginning of the build and as it progressed to where you’re at now?

It’s been a bit all over the place. Most days I would run anywhere from 10-15 miles with varying terrain/elevation. They have been getting easier over the last few months, however.
Enjoy your progression. What's your key to avoiding injury? I'd love to eventually get up to 80 mpw but injuries are a fear. Do you do weight room training?
I stay hydrated, eat well, sleep, avoid drinking, stretch and foam roll. Twice a week I do single leg bridges, calf raises, and leg/hip circles. Every now and then I’ll do side steps with a resistance band and some planks. Pretty simple stuff.
Thank you! I'm always looking at more ways to improve my kinetic chain to help me hold up over time. Jay Johnson's a good resource for me.
*Update!*
Ran 2:31:07 this morning. Had a few rough nights of sleep but did my best. Very motivated to keep moving in the direction of higher mileage and healthy lifestyle. Going to run easy until I’m healed up, followed by some shorter/faster racing this summer and fall. Swinging bigger for next year. Appreciate you guys following along. The best is yet to come. Happy running y’all!
Appreciate your posts, and great job on the 2:31. That's also a good point about pivoting to shorter/faster racing!
