I’m not talking about what car would you like to purchase.
But what car would you like to have as your daily driver if you were gifted the car of your choice?

I've got an fairly new Audi A4 which is perfect for me. It drives super well, has a bit of zip, but still good mileage.
My son was looking at a McLaren going by the other day, back firing flames from the exhaust. While it looked cool to him, I wouldn't want it.
A McLaren wouldn’t be a great every day driver.
F150
I already have a couple old Subaru wagons that I'm keeping forever, so I don't have a need for another car. Not a popular choice, but I'd do more discretionary driving to fun places to run or long road trips (considering high gas prices) if I had a Prius AWD-e.
My 2010 Prius was great in two ways: gas mileage and car camping with full climate control at night (slept about 60 days in it over the 3 years I had it, so also saving a ton in motel/campsite costs). I did a lot of cross country trips in that Prius that wouldn't be cost effective now in my Subarus. It drove/handled terribly, but the current generation Prius on the new platform is supposedly much better. I also "get" and like the unorthodox/unpopular Japanese styling.
Rav4 Prime
Already owned it and sold it. Wasn't worth the aggravation of always having to worry about it getting scratched or keeping it spotless.
I bought a 2020 BMW M2 CS, which I considered the ultimate daily driver. It will outperform almost anything sub $100K on the track while still having usable rear seats that also fold down, a big trunk for a sports coupe and full warranty and maintenance covered for 4 years.
They only made 2,200 worldwide, so now I hate to put miles on it, park it in any tight spots, or leave it outside, so I bought a used X2 for my daily duty.
If the car was gifted to me that I had to daily, I’d go with the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT.
I’d like a Cadillac CT5 V Blackwing with a manual transmission.
1886 Benz Patent Motor Car model no. 1
and
1979 Ford F150 or 1975 Ford F250 Highboy. Blue.
2022 Opel Astra Ultimate.
Beautiful car👌🏾
I'll take a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek when it comes out.....all I need. just enough power, right size, decent MPG
A Mercedes Benz G63 6x6 would be an awesome daily driver.
911 Turbo, probably 997 generation. Fast, fun, reliable, just practical enough, and won't depreciate much.
Late 60s Dodge Coronet.

I total need to have a AMC Pacer, probably 1975 model year:
or a 1971 Ford Pinto:

Bingo. Practical, reliable, fuel efficient (obviously), and taking advantage of the EV transition without having to fully convert. I would love one of these. The challenge is finding one. They are going for outrageous prices right now, even a very lightly used 2021 is selling for an obnoxious $64k.

I just got one. It was worth the wait, and every single penny.
