- If you've already taken your finals, you can no longer claim your previous grade for performances
-If you're a senior who has already taken finals, welcome to the big leagues. You're an adult now. You race adults and will no longer be able to claim being a senior. Let's put it this way. If you're a super cool bro dude, like Flatt and your visiting your college during the summer prior to your first class, you don't call yourself a senior. When Cade bro handles some young college woman too drunk to make good decisions, he doesn't tell her he's still a senior.
-High School records are for HS kids in High School races with other High School kids. You race with pros? Doesn't count. You race unattached? doesn't count.
-If you pay for coaching (not conflating tuition based matriculation), that doesn't count.
-High School runner. High school coach. High school competition.
If you can't follow these rules, then your records get grouped in with other young phenoms like Barega, Cheptegei, Budd, Willis, Gidey and Yakob. Essentially world age group records.
Please feel free to add to my soap box.
