I’ve taken a week off after a long season and have some pain on the bottom of the outside of my right foot. I assume 5th metatarsal. This pain started a couple days ago after playing other sports and doing various non-running activities all of this week. If I was in season I probably would just try to run through this because it is like a 2/10 but I will just extend my break out of caution. I would like advice on when I should start running again. Would it be reasonable to resume when I can no longer feel it?
