Worlds just got a lot more interesting!!!

Until Mu kicks into 1:55 gear.
This was the most exciting finish of the meet!
That was a fun race. Still think Mu has a higher gear than Wilson, but it's a race, not just running, and Wilson showed that she can run AND race great.
Yes the surprising thing today was Athing laid off the 3rd 200 but didn’t have that much coming home. Ajee running a 29.0 last 200 is excellent, but I expect in a month Mu can go 27-29-30-29.
Are you not aware that Ajee also has a 1:55 pb? 1:55.61.
Lol. So overrated. And to think some people think she's head and shoulders above others. Got her five minutes of fame but not happening at the worlds
What the stupid fail to realize is that the rounds can take their toll and so can LEADING every race. Athing Mu is special. Forget world records. She is special.
Could be a US 1-2-3 at the WC.
But only if Keeley is injured cos she is gonna whip all y’all Yankee butts!
Yeah Leading every race is tough. Everyone can't be Rudisha. Just look at most of Ajee's career against non intersex athletes she would tend to lead most races. That being Said Mu does seem to be Rudisha 2.0 with more 400m potential.
One or more of these Woman will run 1:55 at Worlds, unless the temperature is unfavorable, and as we have seen in the past it can be a scorcher in Eugene in the Summer.
If they are all in top form and the weather is good it could take a time in the 1:54 range to win

👍
Mu had COVID last month- I wonder if she is a little off still from that illness
It has been really great to see Ajee come back into form after the last few years! I'll bet the electricity at Hayward during that homestretch run in was awesome. But yes covid has screwed up a lot of athletes like Stewart McSweyn.

She did not seem to try to separate from 400 to 600 perhaps being a little cautious. But she let the field close on her some there.
Ajee Wilson was coming for Athing Mu
Jersey girls 1-2-5!! Plus Allie Wilson of Monmouth U!(AndSydney)
Mu is a beast, never afraid to take the lead. Encouraging after hearing all the distance runners talking about “keeping it honest” without doing any actual work.
Mu looks flat. Hodgkinson for the win.
leading every race and running on the outside of the lane all the way is harder than it needs to be. She should try running 800. She even does it in the 400. I don't get it.
