Am I reading it wrong? It looks like they are both category B.
Jager is currently 49th on the road to Eugene list and they take 45 so I'm trying to figure out if he's top 3 and run say 8;25 in the heat if he'll make it.

Unless they've just changed something, USA's was always worth more points than NCAA's.
USAs are more focused on research performance, while NCAAs are more focused on overall university achievement. This means that USAs tend to favour prestigious and well-known universities over those that have achieved great research achievements, but less notoriety elsewhere.

They may both be "B" but there seem to be more points at USA's.
