Too late for him to beat Granville's time which was set in an HS only race while he was at least a year younger that this guy. Should have been a college frosh/soph this year. Stayed in HS at least one extra year .... because?

I've just started paying attention to this guy. He's been running 1:46's like clock work...and looking good doing it. He's got some upside this summer, and a great career ahead of him imo.

He’s pretty consistent tbh. This is my favorite part about him. He can run nearly the same times almost every week or two.

And dare I say it, I think he's really good for the sport. I predict a new wave of stellar high school 800m runners. 1:46's are going to be the norm, similar to sub 4's for the mile.
