at ive never done any REALLY long runs, and i was considering doing some this winter...
the way i want to do this i see no way of not haveing to carry stuff..
anyway a friend suggested an Ultimate direction wasp, he uses one....but probably not in the way i was thinking..but i have to admit it does look as though it fits in a wy that would be less obtrousive to running..
anyway if anyone has any experiance useing the WASp for hard trail running....i would very much respect your opinions.
i doubt you will get much of a response to a ultra question here. i do not think many ultra types post here.

the discussion is not quite as juvenile as it is here, the crowed is older etc... i think you would have a better chance at getting some basic info on ultras from people that run/do them there.
i am on the list. i set it up so i do NOT get emails from them. to see responses i have to go to the website, i think the default is that whenever a post is made it sends you and email with the post. very annoying, so you might want to set up under "no mail" if you do it.

You might just try a small fanny pack. Letsrun posters will make fun of you but if you are out on the trails for multiple hours, there is nothing wrong with it.
yeah i thought of that.....and certainly the stupied comments would be amuseing ...but i prefer useing my shoulders with low weight...im not sure...but thats kinda why i think i might like the waso might be a better choice.
lol...it does look realy stuiped though if i ever got to predator country ill want to wear it...cause i think carnivores naturaly avoid eating flashy neon colors.
