Do grad transfers count though? (is Jacobs graduating this year?)
Fair question. I just take it as any athlete (National Champion) that goes to another school while still having collegiate eligibility. All American grad transfers are definitely more likely than athletes simply leaving/entering portal.
It will be interesting to see where Jacobs goes, lots of teams interested in getting a guy who is almost guaranteed top 5 in XC with a shot to win. If Stanford gets him it's over for NAU
Looks like he will be going to UT, how many more pieces do they need to be in the 5-20 range at NCAAs. Looks like they should be a lock for NCAAs with Romo out of Ole Miss
Mark Minichello, from Penn, won the javelin and will be doing a graduate transfer next year.
It’s called letsrun for a reason
Brothers Johnson post on here near Olympics and World Championships about medal potential for U.S. jumpers and throwers. Do you think we should discuss 5000m & 10000m all the time? Five-thousand meters is for 1500m runners with below average kicks big time kicks. Ten-thousand meters is for almost Marathoners. Javelin discussion is worthwhile topic on this site.
