Haha, well that is archived, I’m not sure if it counts as deliberately screenshooting a conversation in the hopes of using it against someone later on but it’s close.

He says he did not want to be one of them after he had already decided to be one of them.

There's a pattern with a lot of no good people where they try to get ahead of the story by acting as if anothee person is the problem in a when it's really them. So for instance, theyll report to others whenever someone else has a misstep, but they'll never take accountability for their own numerous lies and deceptions. They are the problem and have zero accountability while attempting to paint others as the bad guy. All too common.

So people who screenshot conversations are doing it in bad faith? Manipulating a story where they are the bad guy but want to look like the good guy?

Seems crazy to me, living your life in the past just to lie about it.

I don't think I've ever screenshotted a conversation on a phone in my life. It seems weird to me.

I just found out that on social media they call it “keeping receipts”. How strange is that? Expecting to be able to use something against someone in the near or very far future. I can’t wrap my head around this.

How is it an “alternate reality” when it actually happened in this reality?

Also, assuming these are text messages, they are always saved. I can access texts from 10+ years ago. I could easily go to them now and screenshot them. You don’t have to screenshot everything.

Alternate reality in the sense that if the person takes a screenshot as the conversation is happening they are already manipulating it to fit them in the future. Now if someone goes back a few years to retrieve a conversation to prove a point, it’s not manipulating the reality.

I had no idea that conversations could be saved for this long. I delete all my conversations after a few weeks, months at the most.
