Grand Valley University, it was a lowkey open meet. I was there with some friends and couldn’t believe it as the race was happening, kept confirming that it was her. She had a pacer through 1k. 66/66/69/65.

Her story is remarkable. She overcame a lot.

Crazy thing is that the tumor she had as a child targeted her lung and diaphragm region, critical facilities for a runner. Definitely a remarkable story.
