I didn't see the races.
Maybe Jager is done but what is up with Frerichs?

She fell going over the last water jump, took about 8 seconds to get up. It was also raining the entire meet.
She fell on the final lap. Probably would have run 920 something without the fall. Still not great. Last meet she said she’s been dealing with some iron deficiency issues and not in speed shape yet.
Yes, celiac disease and / or off the sauce.
Happy to see Colleen Quigley race again and get the Q for the trials!
Evan’s had a good run, but all good things come to an end …
Famed poster Txrunner girl offered to grab some interviews for us. Here is Jager post-racde.
She also tried to get Quigley but Coleen declined saying, "Sorry I don't talk to LetsRun."
Sorry I don’t talk to one of the few publications who knows who I am or cares if I actually do my job, aka race.
Or maybe she wants her name spelled correctly on here.
It was quite rainy throughout the meet - throw all the times out the window. It was the rainiest track meet I’ve ever been to.
The track was soaked. Everyone who was out on the infield left the meet very wet.
Coleen lol .
We were at an outdoor graduation this evening near Portland and I just couldn’t believe how much water was coming from the sky. I kept thinking of the folks at the meet, and how this was going to be a very rough night.

Driving rain will slow down any race, but it has an outsized effect in the steeple. It's extremely difficult to gauge distance for hurdling and get good foot placement on the water jump barrier when you can't see clearly.

Sorry to return this thread back to running, Mean Girls.
Evan looked tired over the final two laps. He held his own but simply could not call upon any additional speed or strength. You could see him slightly fading and losing a stride or two every 100 meters.
Something is off with Frerich’s. If she has Celiac’s, that would certainly explain iron deficiency and malabsorption issues. During her warmups, she also seemed uncomfortable approaching the hurdles on the infield. A lot of stutter stepping. She looked very frustrated afterwards as the BTC coaching/support crew surrounded her. Even before the fall, Cashin was challenging her and the win was not a forgone conclusion.

I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
