I've logged about a 100 miles in them, and I actually didn't like them at first. They feel a lot better now, and I have grown to like them but am curious what other's experience has been with the pegasus 38s?

defo my favourite of the Pegasus series and I use them for all easy runs & my SLR.
By comparison I just bought the 39's and have sacked them off after 3x runs. way too firm and almost immediately started getting issues around my heel/plantar. back in 38's again and loving life
I just picked up a pair of 38s on close out sale and ran in them for the first time today. I like the fit. The toe box is wide enough. The size fit is accurate. On my trail run, the forefoot padding was fine and there was enough cushion in the heel to allow me to heel strike on the downhills. It weighs 9.9 ounces in size 9.5 on my digital scale. I usually prefer a 4-6mm heel to toe drop shoe. The Pegasus 38 specs say it has a 10mm heel to toe drop, but it feels like less. I like it.
I actually bought it to be a trail shoe. So far, it looks like it will work for me. I read the review on RunnersLab and I generally agree with all the comments the reviewers had there.
