Georgia is not losing this. Too many talented and experienced athletes left to compete.

If you're a contending team and you're no longer a contender because you didn't get 5 points out of someone, then they weren't really much of a contender. If they are a contender, then a couple people projected to be 3rd end up getting 2nd instead will pretty much make up the difference.

Ayden Owens is off to a better start than Garland in the dec. Boling is seeded 3rd in the 200 and lost head to head to Fanbulleh earlier. Godwin is unreliable in the 400. Their high jumper is tied w/ 2 others for 1st and it's always unpredictable. Erm was their most reliable points outside of Garland.

Texas is faster in the 4x4 too.

Garland is the collegiate record holder , he will win. Darius Carbin is an SEC champ and many times NCAA scorer. ELija Godwin is an Olympian and have a PR of 44.6. 400mH guy also ran sub 50 as well. Javelin guy is an Olympian. Boling is an NCAA champion in the 200m and was top 5 in both 100/200 last year. I'd say UGA has the upper hand here. relay ran 3.02 and im pretty sure they can compete with Texas.

Garland has already ruined whatever chance he had of winning. He doesn't have a big enough lead on Owens at the moment, with the 400 left (Owens has run 46 low). Owens will be ahead of Garland at the end of day 1. Owens will also score 180-200 points more in the 1500 than Garland. Garland had a 150 point lead indoors heading into the 1000 and Owens ended up beating him by 11 points.

FURTHERMORE, Erm needed to displace the Texas guy who is now in position to get 3rd. Erm should have been guaranteed 3rd, bumping Texas down to 4th or 5th. Ends up being 7-8 points swing in Texas' favor.

its over when its over. Georgia has a strong tradition in those events and always performed great at NCAAs. Kyle is their lead dawg and there is no way he's losing to Ayden or anyone. Plus even if he gets second they can still get to 40-45 points to win the team title.

Matt Bolding might score 40 points on his own.

Texas guy did not make the final

The Georgia 800 runner was projected to score, did not make the final. Texas did sneak someone in and might be able to steal vital points.

It almost looked like the Texas 100m runner jogged it to be fresher for the 200 and 4x1. We'll see if he looks better in the 2.

I actually would rather see Georgia win but being honest it does not look good for them.

800m for Georgia was not projected to score. Also Elija won his heat so he has a chance to get top3 in the 400m.

That's a 'bold' prediction. Boling did get thru to 200 final but Fahnbulleh basically just stripped by him to win 3rd heat.
