I think thats probably fair. 2017 Brooks PR had 6 guys under 4:05.1, so we can see how the final results shake out. Pretty crazy to think there are another 3 sub-4 boys not in this race.

The real screamer will be Sumner v. Braun, 45.78 v. 45.65. Also Willis v. Jackson 53.87 v. 52.32. Englehardt v. Whittaker over a mile and Colin v. Plant 800. Burns and Frias each in the 3200.

Is Braun healthy? He didn't run at the Ohio St meet due to injury.

Wth, with the 1:30 start time on Wednesday? Seattle area public schools aren’t done until Friday, so the potential spectator draw is significantly reduced.

Well, they certainly weren't going to have the meet this weekend when both Nike and New Balance have their national high school meets.

Brooks PR is tomorrow in Seattle, the 15th
New Balance Mile is Sunday in Philadelphia, the 19tth
Brooks always puts some great fields together. Obviously they can't get everyone but they got many of the best for most of the races. As much as the boys' mile is a center of attention I'm looking forward to the girls' two mile. Assuming the weather is cooperative the meet record of 9:51.35 by Brie Oakley is in serious jeopardy. The girls' mile record of 4:38.65 by Juliette Whittaker last year should also go. She's back, along with Sadie Engelhardt.
Wouldn’t be too surprised to see sub 4 miles at three different meets this week. That’d be something.

A shame Wiley isnt in that as well (although she will be at Nike). But then we didnt know she would turn into Mary Cain until last weekend I guess...
Woah, did Gary Martin switch out of the mile and into the 800 to race Sahlman after Sahlman fielded all those questions about them racing one another? I love it.
