Going into SERE (Airforce) I can meet the minimum requirements but I want to Increase my numbers to be more competitive. I can do a max of 40 pushups and 8 pullups but would like to double that. I've heard that doing 200 pushups a day for 10 days then resting 3 days will result in significant improvement but I'm all ears. I went from 5 pushups and 0 pullups to 40 and 8 in a month and that was the result of pushups on odd days and pullups on even days, could a different training schedule help? If so what does that look like?
