A few that come to mind
Connor Washington’s 10.00 100
Galen Rupp 13:37 5000
Alan Webb 3:53 mile
Erryton Knighton’s 19.84 200
Jim Ryun’s 3:58 HS mile (this is more impressive than Gary Martins 3:57 imo)
Hobbs Kessler 3:34 1500

Michael Carter shot put.
Bob Mathias 1948 gold medal.
Probably Bolt I would say... the most popular event and best performances in it.

Embarassing you missed German as #1. Equally embarrassing you missed matias, carter and chapa
Natalie Cook running 15:25 or whatever is better than a lot of those.
Athing Mu winning the US 600 championship as a high schooler was really impressive.
Ryun's 3:55
Arguably Lex Young's is more impressive than Rupp's as he did it 15 months earlier in his career
Knighton was still in high school (and still is?) when he ran 19.49

Only two that beats would be Rupps 5k and Webbs mile.
The Mo Farah hour record. The man just did not know when to stop.

Yeah, he was studying for his GED at the time I guess. Since it was a one-hour record he should have known to stop with one hour on the clock.

Why is Knighton's 19.84 included but not his 19.49. That is by far the most impressive imo.
