And when they run insane times you will be saying that Flatt and Martin are capable of far better if they only ever ran in pro meets. Same old round and round every single year, because we do not have a centralized national championships.
I think the paces will be too hot to do them much good. Running against Flatt and Martin would be better.

Flatt and Martin are front runners that will run perfect paces for Colin and Lex. Colin is in over his head in the 800m and will probably run too fast for the first lap. To get a fast time, Lex needs to run an even pace which is more complicated in a race where he’s not competitive.

You don't understand how this meet works. There will be multiple heats for each distance. Lex Young and Colin Salman will be in heats with other runners that have similar seed times.
So you saying they will be "in over his head" and "in a race where's he's not competitive" is not correct.
Anyone know where you can buy tickets for this? In the LA area and interested
If that information is not already on the usatf website, then it should be there at some point in the next few days.
Worse case scenario is just go to the meet and buy a ticket there. After you park in the main parking lot, walk through the tunnel. At the end of the tunnel is the ticket booth.
1500- Hocker, Mo Ahmed, Hunter, Kessler, Lex Young
Speaking of interesting names, I didn't realize Lex's full name is Alexio.
Also, looks like Teare is doing the 800/5k double. He's definitely a league above everyone in the 5k, so if the 800 is first, it'll be cool to see how he fairs.

I guess you haven’t watched any of their races, because if you had you wouldn’t have posted what you wrote.

800 is before the 5k. But it's possible he ends up only running one event. We'll have to wait and see.
If you look at the number of entrants in all the races it's clear that both Sahlman and Young will not race in the respective "A" section. So running with a too fast pace will probably not be an issue. My guesses: Sahlman 1:48.2; Young 3:43.8.
