Its no longer up for debate the university of Texas has the best sprint program in the nation. Kevona davis just ran 10.95 with Julien Alfred @ 10.81 both are wind legal.

WHAT THE HELL FLO SAID TO THESE KIDS THEY ARE RUNNING AS IF THIS THE NATIONAL MEET!!
3 ladies under 51 in the 400.
19.72 M. Harris in the 200. Jon Jones 44.23 in the 400 - pretty stout times.
44.43.
Incredible times, and this is a program that has finally got some very solid distance chops as well. How do you beat a team like that at nationals? 19.72? Was that wind legal?
10.81 and 10.95? That will make a potential CR 4x100m. And 44.43 for an 800m runner is getting down to Mark Everett territory.
Can you please provide a link, not seeing these results.
My bad - I should have looked to see if legal before. They had a tailwind of 3.8 m/s - pretty significant.
You post this kind of thing after Texas has won big at the NCAA's, how about we with and see what happens.
I will say this I have never thought of Texas as a sprint power. And if we looked at their sprint past they don't stack up to a lot of other schools historically speaking.
Great advice. Jefferson will be tough in the 100m.
The women in the 400 were ...
S. Williams - 50.21 - I think this puts her 9th all time.
K. Simon - 50.68
R. Adeleke - 50.70
Be interesting to see if any break 50.0. Only 5 women have with UT's Okolo one of them.
With conversions for altitude and wind its still a sub 20 effort.

Are you serious? It doesnt matter what you thought the proof is in the times. Never have there been a ncaa team with 3 women under 51 simultaneously nor two under 10.9. And their sprint past is full of olympians and legends. Please go do your research

I was more so referencing the women but ok nice alumni resumes. I still stand behind Texas as a new sprint factory.
Johnny Jones and Dean Smith made the Olympic 100m final for Texas, but what Longhorn belongs in with the great sprinters? World record holders, Olympic/World medalists....who? Texas hasn't done anything as far as the men goes, so ya might wanna......Texas has had some women sprinters.
Ya had a couple footballers....Jamaal Charles, Tony Jones, the Jamaican Givans the school 100m record holder. No great 400m cat.
10.81 and 10.95 were in the prelims with 1.7 and .9 wind. only finals in w 100 were windy.
