Hard to gauge his real training paces because he has a suss private Strava so he can say he did whatever and there’s no proof. Also will depend on how well he nailed his gear and I’m not talking shoes and split shorts.

259. He's also part of a niche demographic. Not many big gym rats are attempting to run marathons, so of course he stands out just by being a decent runner.
He just did a 22 mile workout with the middle 18 miles being at a 6:35/mi average. Either he is going to knock 2:50 out of the water or he just massively over trained and left the race in his training.
I’ll give him this…his running advice in this prep has been pretty good. I don’t run nearly as much at GMP or close to it, but I can’t really quibble with his hard days hard, keep the easy miles easy philosophy. Now are all the numbers they feed us legit and if they are is running all those miles on a high dew point day like that the wisest? Don’t know.
