She’s a beast. Awesome to see a phenom keep on improving.
what is scary is she looked relaxed the whole way, nice acceleration the last 150.
It's been the most satisfying thing to watch a phenom get faster and faster...in college. Just unbelievable. Hats off to Tuohy and her coach, Laurie Henes.
It only took a bajillion years, but finally something is being done right.
Finally she is beginning to run elite times rather than just very good collegiate times. Put her in a really fast race and maybe she runs 4:02. She is slowly transitioning to the big times.
and people on here thought she fell off because she was dealing with injuries
Sad to hear that she will NOT run 1500 at NCAAs. With an unchallenged 4:06 time trial time, she could easily contest for that 1500m title vs Heymach. Amazing to see her thrive in college!
WHAT??
I thought that Tuohy was washed up, not improving since high school, and that Henes was a horrible coach! 🙄
Great time. The thing I pay attention to is the closing 400. When she ran 1:03 slowing down in the preliminary it indicated she had the potential for a very strong time. But was not anticipating PB'ing to this extent. Good for her.
Gonna pick her 2 win the 5k too!
she cut down 6 seconds from her PB in a 1500m ???? that is nuts
She should do some 800s next year
this to me explains the disappointment at Penn. She must have known she could go faster than the 4:10 splt.
OMFG. SHE ABSOLUTELY ANNIHILATED THAT!
can someone pls upload the race on youtube or twitter please
This is a huge improvement. She had barely improved over the past 5 years before this. That shouldn't be hard to understand.
They should go for the 4x1500 record too!
She now in top10 all time collegiate ...

23 sec 5k improvement! Wake up!
Yeah. She was also running at the Penn Relays a week after running 15:14. That was a big effort.
