I am a junior in high school and I am wondering what my progression in times says about my potential. I have about a month more of racing this year but these are PRs as of now. Based on these what times would be realistic to progress to next year in my senior year and beyond? I some one who was pretty slow my freshman year but have progressed very quickly since then.
XC PRs (5k):
Freshman year: 19:51
Sophomore year: 18:25
Junior year: 16:40
Track PRs: (4x400 split, 800, 1500, 3000)
Freshman year: cancelled cause of covid but I'm just gonna guess and say 4:50-5:00 for the 1500.
Sophomore Year: (57.2, 2:08.0, 4:31, 10:04)
Junior year so far: (52.1, 1:58.2, 4:09, 9:14)
Any insight would be great because I want to run in college, and am curious what might be possible next year and in college.
