Whatever the case I've removed them, lol.
Could be they are not online when you post your race? Maybe they can't be bothered to scroll through their entire feed.
I've noticed the same thing. Usually my 6-8 mile easy runs get 5 times the likes as a difficult workout. Not sure if it is a competitive thing or a result of the Strava's viewing algorithm. Certainly weird though.

I’ve noticed this too. I’ll run some blisteringly hard workout and get one like. The next day, I’ll slog along with dead legs at a super slow pace and I get likes up the yin-yang.
Because social media narcissism never makes any sense.
Instead, real race results matter.
