The last two marathons I have run my bib has detached from one or two or of the little s attaching it to my singlet. In one race I had to hold the bib in my hand for 10 miles. Any suggestions on how to make the more secure?

I work in the industry.
it’s a supply chain issue. The normal material for race bibs tyvek is gone. Bib manufacturers cannot get anymore. They are now printing on paper.
I always pinned it to my shorts. If it falls off one end just tuck it in your shorts for the rest of the race. I used to have the same problem with condoms.
Yeah, they use a lot of it for PPE for COVID. You know them bunny suits.
Personally in this day and age, no need for bibs. Doing just chips and high speed is just fine.
My buddy and I just got our hands on a Finish Lynx system and we are doing a free 5k and 10k fun run in a few weeks. Since it's free no bibs. Just using chips. Trying to be as minimalist as possible.
Been dreaming of doing free races for many years, and now that we've got a system, I'm looking forward to doing them.
It is funny how generous people are offering money, but we have been turning it down.
